The NIE unit of The News Straits Times is organizing a short 2 day course titled “Art of Photography”. It is not well publicized online somehow and I am not sure why it isn’t on the nst.com.my website. The details of the course is:-
- Date: 2 & 3 October 2009 (Saturday & Sunday)
- Time: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Cost: RM300.00
- Venue: NST Training Centre, Jalan Riong, Bangsar
The course will cover the following basic stuff:-
- Lenses
- Shutter Speed
- Aperture
- White Balance
- Metering
- Composition
- Basic Photoshop Editing
Note that from the course content, it is targeted at DSLR owners. (The photos above were taken using the Panasonic Lumix LZ8 :P ).
